Paleo Whole30 Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Sausage

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 apple, skin-on, grated (1/3 cup)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons apple pie spice or cinnamon


  • Preheat oven to 350° and line a sheet tray with parchment paper. Set aside. 
  • Add the turkey to a medium bowl and add grated apple, salt, and apple pie spice. Combine well until all the apple is mixed in. Divide evenly into 8 pieces and patty them out to 1/3 inch thick. Place them on the sheet tray and bake for 20 minutes. 
  • Serve warm with nut butter if desired. Store leftovers in the fridge, covered.
