This Paleo Tzatziki Sauce is so simple to make and is loaded with flavor. It is dairy free, gluten free, and Whole30 compliant.
I could have just added this sauce to they Paleo Gyro recipe, but I felt like it needed it’s own separate page. Mainly because I don’t want it to just get looked over, but also because I have made it just to dip veggies in and it is so good! So even if you don’t plan on making the gyros you should try this sauce.
I use coconut cream which thickens up in the fridge. If you put it on warm meat it will become much thinner- just a warning.
This paleo Tzatziki sauce is so easy to make and has become one of our favorite sauce and dips.

This is fantastic! I’m not a big coconut fan so I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it, but it’s amazing!!! Can’t wait for the flavors to meld a bit more overnight. Paleo chicken gyros for lunch and dinner tomorrow! Thank you!

I really only ever eat dill with dill pickles but I realized that I need to make tzatziki again! Its so good. Thanks for sharing this recipe!
Jessica DeMay says
You’re welcome, Billy! Good for both pickles and tzatziki 🙂

Any idea how long the Tzatziki sauce will keep in the fridge after it’s made? A full can of coconut cream will make a lot of sauce (not that I won’t want to eat the WHOLE batch at once)!
Jessica DeMay says
Hi Raegan- it will last 7-10 days in the fridge. I hope you try it 🙂

FABULOUS
I bought a Thai kitchen Coconut Cream can (not milk) but it still had liquid in it, I did not use, but wondering if I should have…
Jessica DeMay says
Hi Robin- you could have stirred it together and used it (it wouldn’t be as thick), but using the top part works. Thanks for trying it.
Claire Peterson says
I used Trader Joe’s coconut cream and this ended up SO watery! Is that not a good choice?
Jessica DeMay says
Hi Claire- have you refrigerated it yet? It should thicken up in the fridge.
